Illustrations for card game "Storybook Brawl".
It was a fantastic experience throughout the whole painting process. I'm a huge fan of the game's art style and how it incorporates fairy tales and familiar characters.
However, it's heartbreaking to see that the game was shut down on May 1st. The news hit me hard, not just as an artist who worked on the project, but also as a passionate gamer who enjoyed the game immensely. It's a shame to see such a fantastic game go, and it's painful to imagine what the teams behind it must be feeling.
I really hope they make a comeback in the future. 😥😥😥
