It was such a pleasure to get assigned to this task, really enjoying during the whole painting process， especially when Cyberpunk2077 is one of my favorite games so far. I used some new painting techniques/color moods that I never tried before on this piece and the outcome is still one of my favorites! And surprisingly, in the beginning, we just thought that this illustration is just an ordinary inner page illustration. But in the end, the client turned this into the cover art, and that makes me feel very honored (I didn't know if this piece was originally intended to be used as a cover)
Really appreciated both of my art directors for their guidance during the process and also for their trust in letting me handle this piece. Hope you like it too!!
